Another day, another manufacturer launches a torrent of new cameras. This time it’s the turn of HP to rain down its digital goodness in the shape of nine new Photosmarts.Sticking very much to its budget ethos, the range kicks off at a tiny $80 for the 5MP E337 with its pulled-from-a-cracker fixed focus lens, but inevitably our eyes were drawn to the top of the price range where we found the slightly more interesting R937 (pictured).Despite looking like a wet weekend in Wales from the front, round the back it sports a humongous 3.6in touchscreen with in-camera editing abilities. It also gets an 8MP sensor, 3x optical Fujinon lens and anti-shake (though of the poorer digital variety).Another that caught our discerning eye was the 8MP Mz67, looking almost stylish in black but also carting a 6x optical zoom. And although we’ve no UK pricing yet, the $200 US price-tag sounds pretty bargain to us.We can’t say we’re crazy for the rest of the range but at these prices we’re sure HP will shift them.Essentials HP Photosmart E337, M447, M547, M637, M737, M742, Mz67, R847, R947 Price: £TBA ($80, $100, $110, $100, $180, $180, $200, $230, $300 On sale: TBA (August in US) Contact: HP Related stories: Kodak hits 12MP with six new Easyshares BenQ rolls out more digicam thinness New Panasonic Lumix thinks pink
