PlayStation 3 Remote Play hacked to stream games to PS Vita
Hackers strike again by unlocking live PS3 game streaming to your hands. Praise science
Jailbreakers have managed to stream full-blown PlayStation 3 titles to Sony’s PS Vita handheld console by hacking the PlayStation 3’s Remote Play feature.
Prior to the hack the PS Vita had a miniscule list of games that supported remote streaming, but now thanks to a gang of admirable code junkies, you can hold the likes of Battlefield 3 and Red Dead Redemption in the palms of your hands.
Sony will (as always) do its best to block these efforts with a firmware update, so here’s to hoping that an official release compatible with all PlayStation 3 titles is in the works so that we can get our console gaming fix away from the big screen.
