Promoted: SoundMagic adds premium style with new Vento headphones
After producing a string of brilliant cut-price cans, SoundMagic ups the ante with new Vento P55
SoundMagic has been around for ten years, and in that time it’s built a strong reputation on the back of its belting budget headphones. The firm’s E10s regularly scoop up awards for cut-price in-ears, and currently occupy a spot on Stuff‘s list of the best headphones money can buy.
And now SoundMagic is going into full ear-pampering mode with the Vento P55s.
SoundMagic has spent two years developing its first pair of premium on-ear headphones. In order to pack plenty of ear-pleasing punch, the Vento has drivers made with copper winding material imported from Japan (they’re developed in-house, too). The headband is made with stainless steel, while the earcups are aluminium – so they’re light enough to use on a commute, but sturdy enough to withstand the resultant bashing that can occur.
The headphones also feature a sturdy Smart cable with a built-in mic and universal smartphone control, so you can answer calls, skip tracks and change volume without having to fiddle around in your pocket to dig out your phone.
And the name? Vento is Italian for ‘the force of moving air’. So now you know (and can speak a bit more Italian than before, too).
The SoundMagic Vento P55 on-ear headphones are available to pre-order now. For more information, click here.
