Summer’s arriving which means sandy beaches, crystal clear water and myriad luminescent fish. Good luck capturing all of that on a smartphone.

Luckily, Samsung’s latest HD Pocket Cam is the ideal companion for those dream-beach excursions. The dinky little red and black device lightly slips into the tightest of shorts and packs in an extra-sensitive 5MP sensor for snaps as well as 30fps 1980x1020p video which, coupled with the bright f2.2 lens results in clear, sharp, distortion and blur-free images. Throw in shock and dust resistance, waterproofing to a depth of three metres, and an Aqua Mode setting and there’s no excuse for bad shots of your lobster tan.
