Sony has introduced a new netbook to its range, boasting the lowest price tag for a VAIO yet.

The M Series follows on from last year’s W Series, and while boasting very similar specs, has a price tag £150 cheaper at around £300.

For your cash you can expect a 10.1-inch LED backlit display, a 250GB hard drive and the newest Intel Atom N450 processor.

It’ll weigh in at 1.3kg, have a Motion Eye camera for web chatting, and of course be capable of Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity.

In fact one of the only differences we can spot between the M and W Series is the loss of the chiclet keyboard, in place of a regular one. Sure it reduces the premium look, but for a reduced price tag its a loss many people will be more than happy to settle for.

The M Series netbooks are hitting shelves this month, but check out our unboxing pics and video review of its W Series predecessor, and let us know if you’ll be splashing 300 notes on it below.
