These vintage stereos are gutted and upgraded with Bluetooth innards
Retro tech gets injected with wireless streaming powers
UK-based Newman Radios has taken it upon itself to breathe new life into old vintage radios by upgrading their insides with Bluetooth tech.
While the original circuit board is tampered with to accommodate the Bluetooth receiver, the original speakers and buttons are untouched.
One quick bit of surgery is all it takes, and you’ll be hard pressed to notice a difference once it’s all put back together.
Old School Cool
There are currently three models available from Newman Radios’ Etsy store – a vintage Decca Radio, and two Roberts Radios.
We’re personally holding out for another ghetto blaster though. It’ll complement our breakdancing far better, we think you’ll agree.
