Want to buy a BatPod? Custom built electric two wheeler up for auction
The modified Harley looks uncannily like something Batman would have in his arsenal - and even comes with a flame thrower
Created by a Nevada bike fan, the unique motorbike is on eBay – although be warned, bids have already reached over £9,000.

The custom bike is 100% electric, and is built around a modified 2002 Harley Davidson V-Rod frame by seller ‘Jeff T’, who is apparently so cool he doesn’t need a real surname. “It is a unique, one-of-a-kind motorcycle that is fully operational and a totally reliable form of transportation,” he says
There are no specs available on acceleration, although its top speed is a calculated 126 mph (203 km/h).
“Most of these parts were custom made from raw aluminum and steel stock material,” Says Jeff.
The bike is currently titled, registered, & insured as a street-legal 2002 Harley V-Rod.
However, buyers should be warned that the riding position is rather unique.
“As you can see from the low-profile design, the rider lays down in the prone position as opposed to sitting in the traditional upright position,” says Jeff.
“Because there is no gear shifting required, the feet are supported by footpegs near the rear wheel.”
Not content with his work, Jeff added a few specials – namely a flamethrower and two cannons.
The flamethrower uses Argon pressurized tanks to shoot a stream of ignited gasoline out in front of the bike.
The two “cannons” are shotguns, capable of firing any 12-gauge cartridge – although Jeff says shredded paper looks best for those less dangrous rides.
