WB850F is Samsung’s smartest Wi-Fi camera yet
Auto backup online and email photos from the camera, plus remote control it from your mobile – this cam is clever
Samsung’s WB850F is so connected – with its Wi-Fi prowess – that it makes most other cameras look like lonely hermits.
The 16MP WB850F manages a huge 21x zoom in that portable body while still cramming in Wi-Fi support, a 3in AMOLED screen and an f/2.8-5.9 Schneider-Kreuznach lens.
The snapper uses Samsung’s new Smart Wi-Fi to let you instantly email, Facebook or Picasa your photos online. Plus simply have them auto backup to your computer, or send them to a Microsoft Sky Drive, or even your Samsung ES8000 LED TV. You can also download an app that lets you remotely control the camera from your mobile.
The Samsung WB850F will be out in April for over US$300, but we haven’t been given an accurate price yet.
