Watching grunt-heavy tennis players battle it out often has us reaching for the remote to muffle the ear-splitting shrieks. German research society Fraunhofer has come to the rescue by offering a sound mixer for centre court matches which allows you to adjust the commentary levels in relation to the court action and crowd. The NetMix player can be downloaded from here, after which you can envelop yourself in the sophisticated commentary of tennis legends, rather than the animalistic shrieking on court.
