HP Photosmart 475 review

It has card slots and PictBridge for computer-free printing, a built-in colour LCD and 1.5GB internal storage.

It looks like a cuddly toaster but it’s HP’s top-of-the-range 6x4in photo printer. It has card slots and PictBridge for computer-free printing, a built-in colour LCD and 1.5GB internal storage.

Print quality is good, with strong colours and contrast and a resolution of 4800x1200dpi. The print time’s around 95 seconds, so it’s not as fast as the dye-sub Canon but it is amazingly flexible.

Options include a rechargeable battery pack and Bluetooth adaptor. It weighs in at a practically non-existent 1.5kg too. What a cutey.
