BMW E-Scooter on show at Olympic Park
Concept two-wheeler can take you 62 miles on a charge and reach speeds of 75mph
BMW has demonstrated its green credentials by showing off a concept E-Scooter, an electric two-wheeled runaround that can travel up to 62 miles on a single battery charge. You can top up the battery in just three hours.
It’s no slouch in the performance department either: top speed is 75mph, and it goes from 0-31mph in 3 seconds. The design is a concept, so it’s not available just yet, but BMW already has some E-Scooters out and about as part of the official Olympic fleet.
You can see the E-Scooter along with other BMW concept cars at the BMW Pavilion in the Olympic Park (entry is free with Olympic tickets). If you can’t make it over there, there are plenty more pictures of it over at Pocket-lint.
