The Zen X-Fi, just released in Singapore, comes in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB guises, going head-to-head with the iPod Touch.

Like the Touch it’s Wi-Fi friendly and will play nicely with Yahoo and MSN messenger. There’s a slot for expanding it via SD/SDHC card and FM radio and voice recorder are on board too.

It’s sporting a middling 2.5in LCD for watching vids, and sound is piped via the surprisingly high-quality EP-830 earbuds (take note, Apple) with X-Fi Crystalizer and X-Fi Expand technology helping things along.

Alongside the Zen X-Fi comes a slew of accessories including the TravelSound Zen X-Fi Docking Speaker System, armband, silicone case and leather case.

We’ll let you know as soon as it pops up on these shores, so stay tuned.

If you’re into making vids instead of watching them, have a look at the Creative Vado and Flip Video Ultra in our vidcast
