LG Scarlet heading for UK

It’s already been given the A list treatment in the States, courtesy of fake trailers and Lindsay Lohan. And now the LG Scarlet is breezing into

The super–thin flat panel, clocking in at a measly 1.7in, totes a red–coloured rear and a neat soft–touch on–off sensor.

Tech–wise, it’s no slouch either, cramming in an Intelligent Sensor, which, we’re told, analyses ambient light levels and automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness. And it’s good news for green types too. LG reckons it cuts power consumption by 62 per cent.

Naturally, we’re looking at 1080p, with 15,000:1 contrast ratio, 24p TruCinema, four HDMI ports and USB. Oh, and good old SCART’s there too.

Now, the Scarlet might be thin, but it’s nowt compared to the OLED tellies we’ve been catching sight of this year. Why not take a peek.
