These are some of the cool new things that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 can do
As succinctly told in GIFs
There’s a lot to learn about the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7, and since pictures say a thousand words, we thought GIFs would speak volumes.
To help you take it all in, here are some of the best new things you can do with your Galaxy Note 7. GIF it up for GIFs.
You can unlock the Note 7 with just a glance
Not only can you unlock the phone with your eyes thanks to the Iris Scanner, it also has a new secret-storing Secure Folder that’s for your eyes only. Hide your unshareable photos, private email accounts and apps under this extra layer of security free from prying eyes.
The S Pen has newfound abilities
The new S Pen is slighter in stature than the Note 5’s version, with a finer tip. That means that, subject to your own artistic talent, you can create art with improved precision.
The S Pen can also magnify text and images by up to 300% more: great for those fine-print and Where’s Wally situations when you just want to quickly check out a portion of the page, instead of increasing all the text on your phone.
On holiday? You can use the S Pen to translate words online and within images, so just snap a photo of the menu to make sure you don’t order the wrong thing. It uses Google’s brain to work on a word at a time, so you’ll have to be patient.
Another new feature is the ability to create customisable GIFs for easy sharing by using Smart Select on YouTube videos, changing up its speed and even adding your own text and images on top.
No fear of water
The Note 7 is waterproof, and thankfully, so is the S Pen.
You can write when the screen is wet so you don’t have to keep wiping the screen down if you’re caught in the rain.
And it even works when the phone is underwater. Even normal pens can’t do that.
While this might sound like a feature that’s not exactly necessary, you never know when it will come in handy. Inspiration comes at the strangest times – even if you’re in the bathtub, or at the pool. Or at least that’s how our brains work anyway.
