CES 2010: Lenovo Skylight smartbook hands on photos

Lenovo's new Linux OS is called Skylight, and it announced a debut 'smartbook' under the same name. It's essentially the Ideapad U1 without the remova

Like many smartphones – and it’s effectively a giant smartphone – it has live web ‘gadgets’ like Amazon MP3. Facebook and movies on the homescreen.

Storage is via a built-in USB key and microSD and SD card slots – you get 20GB in total plus 2GB cloud storage.

It’ll be out in the US in April for $499 – no news on UK availability/pricing yet.
