It was just a concept back at the CES show in January, but now Dell has officially launched its desktop-suitcase PC for power-talking businessmen.

The M2010 defies any attempt to pigeon-hole its talents. Folded into its suitcase form (on the right), it’s a massive 20in laptop with Core Duo processing and a stupendous 240GB hard drive.

Put it on the desk at your crucial presentation, though, and you can unpack a full-size Bluetooth keyboard, whip out the gyroscopic remote and blow your audience’s socks off with its 1680×1050 pixel display, eight speakers and integrated subwoofer.

There’s much more where those specs came from too: a 1.3MP camera for web-conferencing, a DVD drive and pre-loaded Skype software for internet calling bolster its already impressive CV.

Dell didn’t quite manage to squeeze everything in, though – if you want to watch TV you’ll have to buy an optional USB tuner which will let you turn it into an – albeit massive – PVR.

There’s no price for the M2010 yet, but Dell has promised that it’ll confirm this and the release date with us soon – look out for an update as soon as we find out. If you want a full list of specs, go to Dell’s worldwide site here.
