Roberts’ Robi is but a week away from launch but now we have news of another iPod dabber. No, not a tune-playing bingo pen, but this iDab plug-in adaptor.Unlike the in-wire Robi, the iDAB slots directly into your iPod’s bum, serving up a digital enema of sport talk and tunes from the likes of 6 Music et al.It gets a larger screen for station info and scrolling text and, cunningly, also has an iPod dock connector on its base so it can be slotted directly into speakers for room-filling radio. You’ll still need the earphones plugged in, mind – they double up as the antenna.And, in case you’re wondering, the controls are all on the side.
