3D sat-nav maps are all well and good but 3D maps with buildings and lane markings? Now that’s impressive. Kenwood’s the company that’s managed it, if the screenshots from its latest Far East head units are anything to go by anyway. Our Japanese isn’t too hot but the release put out by the company in Japan definitely shows the trick being pulled-off on the streets of Tokyo. Other details garnered are that the all-in-one entertainment devices have 7in displays, play MP3s and spin DVDs.The two models detailed both have 40GB hard drives with the top-end 990 getting a TV tuner. Now if we can just load up the maps from The Getaway PS3, we’d have the ultimate London sat nav.
