Meridian’s Ferrari branded F80 tabletop hi-fi shares a lot with the sports cars from which it borrows a badge. It’s Rosso Corsa red, performs like a dream and looks like it was sent from heaven. Now imagine adding a sidecar to your Ferrari hi-fi and you’re looking at the Meridian i80 iPod dock.

Designed and built to partner the sweet sounding stereo, the i80 cradles your iPod or iPhone with similar Scuderia styling and processes your tunes to give the same stonking sound that you’ll be used to from your F80.

Track info is relayed to the F80’s OLED screen so you can see which driving anthem you’re currently pumping out (Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain we hope) and it’ll also juice your ‘Pod as it plays.

Thankfully, the i80 doesn’t share the same eye-watering price tag of either the F80 or a real Ferrari F40, but then if you’re already a proud owner of either, an extra £200 probably won’t whack the wallet too much.
