Moto 360 with metal bands now available, gold edition and new Moto Body app on the way
You can slather your wrist in smartmetal. If you live in the US that is.
Motorola has announced that US gadgeteers can now snap up all-metal Moto 360s.
Available for US$300, both the dark and light models feature straps that are crafted from aircraft-grade stainless steel, making the 360 look watch-ier than ever.
Slimmer metal bands in light and a champagne gold finishes will also be available bundled with the 360 itself, costing US$300 and US$330 respectively.
Existing 360 owners won’t be left out either, with light and dark metal bands, a selection of leather bands, and colourful silicon bands all in the pipeline, to be sold separately for as-of-yet undisclosed prices.
Motorola is also including a My Design watch face option in an update, letting owners customise their watch faces including the background and hands. Look out for an update through the Moto Connect app over the next few days.
The app update also will also include Moto Body – an app which provides you with tailored goals to keep you motivated, once it’s analysed your heart rate, steps, distance and calorie stats.
