What’s this – a new addition to Nokia’s homage to the three-sided polygon? Indeed, it’s a special edition 7900 Prism dubbed the Crystal, on account of its crystal centre key.

While we consult our Big Book of Gems to discover which crystal that might be – hmm, Chromium Alum, perhaps? – let us tell you that the purple-, sorry fuchsia-themed design comes from the slightly suspect mind of French designer, Frederique Daubal.

We can’t help being reminded of a chocolate wrapper, but if the colour isn’t entirely to your taste you can at least alter the hue of the keypad to one of 49 different lighting effects.

A slew of exclusive wallpapers is available online, all from Frederique’s Gallic hand, while inside lies the original heady cocktail of two-megapixel camera, 3G hardware, 1GB of internal memory and a music player complete with fetching headset.

It’ll be appearing, triangular keys and all, before the end of March.
