Rumour Mill – Apple’s new AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule

The Apple boffins have been tinkering away once again

A freshly baked AirPort Extreme wireless base station has recently popped up in American governmental papers, which we’re hoping will result in a number of improvements as well as a less wallet damaging price. Potential tweaks include support for new streaming standards over both 2.5GHz and 5GHz bands and refreshed 2TB and 3TB Time Capsules to go along with it. Expect the standard Apple post-it-note of temporary store closure to go up soon, after which you can splash out on some shiny new gear.
