Samsung Galaxy S4 to come with 2GB super-fast RAM and 128GB storage?
It looks like Sammy is continuing to innovate at a quick rate, and its phones follow suit just as super fast
The Samsung Galaxy S4 rumour mill is already churning with word of a March 2013 release already out there. And now Sammy appears to be preparing a new faster version of its 2GB RAM module to go with a huge 128GB storage that could appear in the Galaxy S4.
The new RAM is a 2GB LPDDR3 DRAM chip – which means it’s 1600 Mbps fast (as opposed to the 1066 Mbps of its predecessor) with a whopping 12.8 GB/s of bandwidth. And all that speed will be useful when delving into the new massive 128GB storage that’s also being developed. Now we just need a six-core chip and even higher resolution screen and March will be a very expensive month indeed.
