Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to have TouchWiz Honeycomb update
Hoping for a stock Android experience on Sammy’s 10-incher? Think again
Samsung’s 10.1in Galaxy Tab is due to hit our shores on August 4 and those of you looking for a purely clean Android experience may wish to mull over the news that their TouchWiz skin will be loaded into the Honeycomb OS, straight out of the box.
Although disappointing for those of you who like to keep things clean and simple, there are a few bonuses such as a multimedia clipboard which will allow you to copy and paste pictures, videos and text. A Live Panel homescreen widget displaying the latest social network news and weather is also included, as well as an updated version of the Swype keyboard. These extra features, coupled with an increase in available accessories should ensure that even the TouchWiz naysayers will remain content.
