Samsung U20 and U15 pocket camcorders outed

Samsung has followed on from last year’s U10 pocket camcorder with two new additions – the U15 and U20.

Both models keep the flip-out USB and full HD 1080p video capture from their predecessor, and while the U15 is capable of higher 14 megapixel stills than the U20’s 10 megapixel offering, the U20 packs the added bonus of a 3x optical zoom for getting in closer to the action.

There is a 2-inch screen on the back for viewing your footage on, touch controls, HDMI output and a rather funky design to boot – all packed into a nicely skinny shell.

The inclusion of Hyper Image Stabilisation will mean your wobbly hands won’t ruin your footage, and there are also additional creative features such as time lapse recording – plus a colour choice of black, silver, blue or red to choose from.

The U20 is scheduled for release in March, while the U15 will land a little later in May. Prices are to be confirmed, but keep it locked to Stuff.tv for hands on snaps and be sure to check out how last year’s U10 fared when we put it through its paces.
