The Slingbox has brought an end to many an ungainly row over whether Eastenders wins out over Finland’s all–important U21 clash on Sky Sports Xtra.
And now Sling’s mobile offering, SlingPlayer, is heading onto a slew of UIQ on Symbian devices (that’s Sony Ericsson phones to you), letting you watch said football game (or hideously dull soap) on the go.
Phones in line to get the snappily titled SlingPlayer Mobile for UIQ include SE’s full QWERTY P1i, and their W960, along with Nokia’s N95 8GB.
Motorola’s RIZR Z8 is also getting involved with the slinging action, which is due to kick off over spring.
If you’ve got a Slingbox, the software will cost you a one–off charge of £19.99. Then it’s onwards with mobile telly straight from your gogglebox at home.
