Sony to unveil 6.4in Xperia smartphone at MWC?

It looks like Sony could be revealing it mobile-cum-tablet with 1080p screen soon

Sony blew us away with its new 1080p screened Xperia Z at CES – and it looks ready to do it all over again, at Mobile World Congress next month, with its first 6.44in smartphone-cum-tablet.

This picture was posted by Digi-wo, a Chinese forum, showing the screen of a 6.4in handset – which it claims is a smartphone not a tablet. It reckons the device will sport a 1080p display and no physical front navigation buttons, like the Xperia Z.

Will this be the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 challenger or is that size going to leave it in no man’s land? And with the Xperia Tablet Z – the world’s thinnest and lightest slate – on its way, will anyone need this sized handset? Let us know in the comments below.
