Philips Streamium Hi-Fi range gets Spotify

If you bought a Streamium Philips Hi-Fi and were gutted Spotify was out of reach, fear not

Philips is already pushing boundaries with the very first Android smartphone dock, and now it’s going into lightspeed with Spotify on its Streamium Wireless Hi-Fi range.

Owners of the MCi8080 and MCi900 Streamium Wireless Hi-Fi systems can, as of today, update their systems to access their Spotify Premium accounts – sadly, only for paying customers. If you haven’t downloaded the free MyRemote app, be sure to do so – then you won’t even have to get up from the couch as you flip through tracks on your smartphone and fill your face with chocolate treats.
