As you’ll have gathered from our unboxing and hands-on video, we’re rather excited about HTC’s HD2 – and now Vodafone has announced its contract pricing, we might just do something stupid with our credit card.

The HD2 has been available for pre-order from Carphone Warehouse’s sister site mobiles.co.uk for a couple of weeks, but now Vodafone has now announced it’ll be offering it for free on a two year, £35 per month contract.

If this deal’s 900 minutes of talk-time isn’t quite enough, there’s also a £40 per month deal that gives you a jabber-friendly 1200 minutes per month. Both contracts also include unlimited email and internet, ideal for whizzing around on its iPhone-rivalling 4.3in touchscreen.
