Android Jelly Bean mascot joins the ranks on Google’s front lawn

The big G updates its giant Android collection ahead of its I/O keynote later on today

Google has installed the latest giant Android mascot on its front lawn to signify the imminent introduction of Android Jelly Bean.

The massive Android-shaped jar of oversized sugary beans all but confirms Jelly Bean’s official unveiling later today at Google’s I/O keynote, along a whole host of other expected announcements, including an Asus-made Google Nexus 7 tablet.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to get some lunchtime sweets in preparation for the big reveal. We are professionals after all.

Don’t forget to check back later for all the news from Google’s I/O event; it boots up at 5.30pm (UK time).
