Wires are the bane of any tech fan’s life. That’s why Parrot has gone to the trouble of producing a set of wireless boomers to help you out with your copper-free diet.

Not only that, but it has drafted in celebrity designer extraordinaire, Philippe Starck, to make them look pretty: dressing them in a deep black lacquer and carving them into a very seductive form indeed.

We have a feeling he was responsible for the ‘Zimku’ moniker as well…

Fully certified ‘Made for iPod’ and ‘Works with iPhone’, your Apple player can perch atop the dock on one of the speakers and be controlled via the included remote.

In the spirit of wire-free living, you can pipe music to them from your compy via Wi-Fi, or from your mobile via Bluetooth A2DP.

Their NXT flat speaker tech makes them oh-so slender, but they still manage a respectable 100W output, and have special hollows to help them produce deep bass.

If you have a grand or so kicking around, and fancy decluttering your music setup, why not give ’em a whirl?
