Gadget of the Day – Revo Heritage multi-format radio
It may seem like there are rather a lot of DAB radios around these days, but if you’re looking for one with a bit of a retro feel, the Revo Heri
As a contemporary reinterpretation of classic European table radio designs from the 50s and 60s, the Heritage is boasts a traditional wood and metal exterior, and comes packing DAB, HM and Wifi internet radio capabilities under the hood.
Radio to one side, the Heritage is also capable of wireless audio streaming from a PC and docking for all current iPod models, as well as providing access to online music service Last.fm and its 5 million tracks.
You’ll get a 30 day free trial of the Last.fm service when you buy it, but will need to fork out £3 a month thereafter if you want to keep it.
Finally the Heritage features a large “secret-until-lit” OLED screen and joystick control system for easy use, and as for its audio performance, you can expect a 3-inch neodymium speaker driver, driven by a high fidelity 7W amplifier.
The Revo Heritage will be available from Revo online and John Lewis stores from early November for £229.95.
