April beckons and soon the snow-clad Alps will be one giant Sound of Music goat pasture film set. But fear not our snowboarding friends, because Hampshire-based adrenalin junky, Tasty Adventures, is here to ease your snowmelt woes.Dubbed the Land Ski (pictured), this, er, contraption, promises to replicate snowboarding or surfing on your nearest patch of asphalt. We’re talking edge-to-edge carving and leans of more than 45-degrees. Whether asphalt is as forgiving as snow or surf we’ll leave you to discover. Those wanting to get more land-based kicks can also try the Tasty Street Surfer: an hour-glass, two-wheeled board with a flexible join in the middle. Given that it’s propelled by the rider ‘twisting the hips and moving in an s-shape motion’, we think we’ll stick with the Land Ski for now.
