The Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ officially exist
Samsung's next handsets are spotted in official certifications
Not that we had any doubt that there was going to be one, but we now have official proof that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is on the way.
It’s been spotted alongside the larger S6 Edge+ phablet in both a Singaporean certification agency, along with the US’ FCC, suggesting that their launch is imminent.
This matches up with recent rumours pointing to an earlier-than-usual launch date. Normally Samsung reveals its latest Note model in IFA in the first week of september, but we’re now expecting it to have its own even earlier, on 12 August, to stand out from Apple’s new iPhone launch in september.
The Note 5 is expected to arrive with a 6in 4K screen and Samsung’s latest Exynos processor, along with 4GB of RAM, which would make it the most powerful phone in the world this year.
We’ll be bringing you all the news from the front lines at its launch, so stay tuned.
