Samsung Galaxy S6 gets caught in a toilet with its trousers down
Behold the naked innards of the Galaxy S6's metal case
These spy shots of a Samsung Galaxy S6 case might not be the most glamorous compositions around, but they give us a pretty good idea as to what it could look like. Assuming they’re genuine of course.
Picked up by French site Nowhereelse.fr (who’s got a decent track record when it comes to leaks), the shots reveal an all-metal casing that, well, really isn’t too dissimilar from an iPhone 6, at first glance anyway.
Apart from the obvious shape similarities, the bottom of the case itself also has a very similar layout to Apple’s current smartphone champion, with a headphone jack sitting on the bottom left, and what appear to be micro-drilled speaker holes on the right.
Unlike the iPhone 6 however, this alleged Galaxy S6 case has a microphone cutout to the right of the microUSB port, and its signal-benefiting plastic aerial strips also wrap around each side.

Stare a little longer, and you’ll notice a lack of screws on the S6 case, and two rows of speaker holes as opposed to one. Maybe they’re not that similar after all.
The rear of the case itself is bare, which suggests that unlike the iPhone which has a single, uninterrupted shell, an extra layer will be added.
Whether or not that piece will be more metal or a rumoured piece of glass, remains to be seen – and it still raises questions over the inclusion of a removable battery, which is a feature that Samsung’s flagships have always offered.
There are no clues as to how genuine this case leak is, but the camera and flash cutouts do match previous leaks of alleged Galaxy S6 cases, as well as shots of it caught in the wild.
We’ll know everything for sure come Sunday 1 March, when Samsung officially reveals all in Barcelona, so stay tuned.
