Poco, Xiaomi and Redmi devices all seeing big price cuts

Poco F4 GT smartphone lockscreen

Looking to grab some bargains on some of the latest smartphones? Xiaomi has your back. The tech giant is slashing prices on smartphones and earbuds across all of its brands. From Poco and Redmi to Xiaomi itself, you’ll find plenty of tech on offer for you to peruse.

Poco F4 GT 5G – now £399

There’s a killer deal to be had on the Poco F4 GT 5G smartphone during Xiaomi’s spring sale. The F4 GT usually retails for £460, but right now, you can pick one up for £399 on Amazon UK. That’s an impressive saving of £61.

Poco’s gamer-friendly model has been on sale for a little while now, so this price drop makes the handset a more compelling option. All three colour options (Knight Silver, Stealth Black and the impossible-to-miss Cyber Yellow) are discounted. With 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it’s a potent device.

In our four star review, we called the Poco F4 GT a “mid-tier flagship that blends gamer-friendly features with more mainstream styling”. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU puts it top of the class for performance. Plus, its pop-out trigger buttons are a revelation for anyone used to playing fast-paced mobile games with touchscreen inputs.

Xiaomi 12 – now £449

2022’s 6.28in Xiaomi 12 is also looking like a particularly good deal right now. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, and packs 8GB of RAM alongside 128GB of storage. The triple camera array is pretty impressive, with a 50MP, 5MP, and 13MP set-up. Plus, there’s a pretty hefty 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

With a regular ticket price of £749 you’re looking at a £250 saving over retail price – bringing the total down to £499. It’s a very good deal on a year-old device with some impressive specs.

Redmi Note 12 Pro – now £899

If you’re after something with a bit more style, it’s worth checking out the Redmi Note 12 Pro. It’s a well-positioned mid-ranger from 2022, with a 6.67in 120Hz display making it stand out from similarly priced competitors.

Typically, retailing for £339, right now there’s a £60 price cut – meaning you can get one in your pocket for £279. It’s available in Blue, White, and Black colours, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage. You’re looking at a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, 5000mAh battery with 167W rapid charging, and a three-lens camera on the rear.
